Makeup and beauty favorites for February :)

OMG its the end of the month again feb always goes by so quick and this weekend is march which I cant believe. Its still so cold but at least its brighter out and the evenings are stretching I say roll on summer. Anyway enough of my rambling lets get to it!!

The first product I am going to talk about is the loreal paris skin perfection 3 in 1 purifying micellar solution. Mouthful or what ha :)
So omg I am in LOVE with this stuff its like magic in a bottle and the best part is the price tag a lot of the time its on offer in boots for 4 euro and its normally priced 6.99 so its very affordable. I use it to take off my makeup. I pour a bit on to a cotton pad and wipe off my makeup and it just takes the makeup of so well and I mean I wear full coverage makeup and always have a full face on. So basically it claims to dissolve makeup unclog pores removes impurities and tones and soothes. I defiantly think the above claims are all through it removes my makeup amazingly and leaves my pores unblocked and my face feels fresh and toned after using it. This is a stable in my skincare and I seriously dunno how I survived before without it. I recommend it 100 % and boots are on 3 for 2 at the moment so defiantly a time to buy it!!!

The next stable in my life the past month has been Tanya Burr lip glosses :)
So I am typically not a lip gloss person the stickiness and tackiness tends to annoy me so I stick to my lipsticks. But because Tanya burr is one of my fave makeup artist and you tubers I popped on the bandwagon and bought them and I have to say I have been converted to lip glosses. I love these they go on the lips so smooth and feel great and not sticky or tacky at all but very moisturizing  and the colour range is amazing. They are so pigmented as well so there is no need for a lipstick underneath and the price point is amazing. I bought mine of cloud 10 beauty and they are also available on feel unique.com. I will also have a more detailed blog post coming soon on Tanyas glosses and nail polishes so stay tuned for that :)

The next cult product the past month has been rimmel wake me up foundation.
Now I have loved this foundation since its been out but now that were in spring and I am all excited for summer I have been using this non stop the past month for a lovely radiant look.

My last but not least fave product I have been using the past month         is the loreal miss manga mascara.
Now I have heard a lot about this on you-tube and from bloggers and its defiantly a mixed opinion people seem to either love it or hate it. I love it!! It has a lovely bristly wand instead of a plastic one which seems to be popular at the moment and its easy to apply and its not at all messy like others and I have not experienced any black fall out under the eyes as I have with others. It just leaves my lashes looking lovely and separated and it lengthens them lovely too. But what I would say is don't use to much as more then a few coats can make it look clumpy (unless you like that look) but other then that its my new fave drugstore mascara :) if you would like a more in dept review with pictures let me no and I will do an entire blog on this mascara alone because I love it :)

So that's it for my most used beauty and makeup items over feb I hope its useful for you and you find something you love if you try any of the above products.

The best part is most of them are available in boots and are really affordable and the 3for2 offer is still on in boots at the moment. The Tanya Burr lip glosses are so affordable too there only eight euros and fifty cent on cloud10beauty. So defiantly check out all the items I have mentioned because I cant live without them.

I hope this was helpful. Stay tuned for more exciting blog posts.

maybelline baby skin pore eraser :)

So today I am blogging about the maybelline pore eraser. Its basically a primer for the skin before you do your foundation. It claims it gives pore-less smooth skin and its lightweight and breathable. I have been testing this out for the past few weeks various ways and with different techniques and foundations and I have to say I'm not a big fan of it. I felt it didn't really do anything for my pores (not to say that it wouldn't for others) I felt they were still noticeable and it does claim to reduce them. Also I felt that it dried out my skin. I don't have terribly dry skin at all and I tend to have an oily t zone so that's were I tend to use primers but after a few weeks of using it my skin started peeling and drying out bad. Now I'm not using it my skins back to normal so it would of had to been that making it slightly dryer then usual. After a few uses when my skin started drying out and id use this and my foundation would patch in places because of the dryness but as I said now Its back to its old self using my cult faves for my skin (which I will go into detail on another blog post) But the one thing I have to say is it did make my foundation last that little bit longer which is a plus.

This primer had a lot of hype around it as maybelline have done so well with the baby lips line and some people were comparing it to benefits porefessional primer. Its defiantly nothing like the porefessional primer from benefit but they were trying to do the same concept. The baby skin pore eraser has a more silicon feel to it something like the smashbox primers but not the same results as them as smashbox is one I like.

I started off by placing it on my t zone and it went on pretty nice felt smooth and it didn't feel to heavy on the skin but my pores were still really noticeable as I said and my skin started drying out. Its only a few euro and worth a look at as boots have three for two on at the moment as this primer might really work for some and some might find it there cult product but I am not a fan but I don't hate it. This is just my opinion and I hope it was helpful.
stay tuned for more blog posts :)

Real Techniques Miracle complexion sponge

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge By Sam and Nic Chapman.

So as you can tell already by my first blog post I am in love with real techniques brushes so it won't come as a surprise to anyone that I am blogging about their new sponge that is out. I realise I am very late on the bandwagon as its been out so long and its been reviewed and blogged about  by literally everyone but I only bought this product recently and would like to share my thoughts on it if thats helpful to some of you :) Also I have not blogged in over a year as I could not get back on to my blog typical me but I found it and I will update it more regular and have more up to date posts on all the latest beauty and makeup!!

So I had a little inkling that I would like this sponge as I love the real techniques line already and I had seen the reviews and a lot of people are comparing it to the beauty blender (which I have never tried but I am hoping to) So I did not hesitate in buying it at all. I brought it home and tried it straight away and I absolutely love it.

So the trick is to damping the sponge and press it and dab it all over the face for a lovely flawless coverage foundation. Press the flat side all over the face to create a flawless base and then use the pointed side to dab under the eyes and around the nose area and for ur concealer. It just gives a lovely finish. I never thought this would substitute my sigma F80 or my real techniques stippling and expert face brushes but it does.

Its definitely a must have for all the makeup and beauty fanatics like me to give it a try because it will change your routine for the better but thats my opinion and take on it hope its helpful.  :)

Real Techniques by Samantha and Nic Chapman :)

Real Techniques by Sam chapman and now also her sis Nic chapman.

Hi everyone :) for my first blog post I wanted to talk a little about the Real Techniques makeup brushes by Samantha Chapman who is one half of the amazing Pixiwoo on youtube and now her sis who is her youtube partner the other half of the amazing Pixiwoo Nic chapman is now on board. I know they have been probably talked about and reviewed like a million times but none the less I still feel the need to talk about them even though everyone has been able to purchase them a good while.

They were first available in boots in Ireland here a little over 2 years now and I own all the brushes and some of them I have extras of that is how much I love them.

All the brushes have pacific names such as expert face brush and the blush brush and the setting brush and so on. Even though the brushes have names for pacific uses they are actually versatile which I love. I use the stippling brush for blush instead of foundation and I use the crease brush to put on concealer for example so these brushes are amazing because they have so many uses for different application of makeup. The brushes are so soft and lovely to use on the skin and just really create flawless makeup. They are  brushes that are comparable to big high end brands like Mac, Bobbi Brown and some what even better as they stand out more with their cool funky colored handles and their price point. They also stand up which they can be displayed easy on desktops and makeup vanities   Some of the brushes are available individual and the others come in sets. They have the core collection set which comes with four brushes these are the pointed foundation brush the buffing brush the contour brush and the detailer brush. The price for this set is roughly 25.99 euros and the other set available to buy here in Ireland is the starter set which consists of the base shadow brush the deluxe crease brush the pixel point eyeliner brush the brow brush and the accent brush and this set is also roughly 25.99 euros. The both of these sets come in cool cases which the brushes can be displayed in standing up or packed away to be brought when traveling which is amazing. The rest of the brushes are available separate to buy which are the expert face brush, blush brush, stippling brush, powder brush, setting brush, fine liner brush, foundation brush, shading brush and last but not least available here in Ireland the kabuki brush and the separate brushes all range in price from 10.99 to 18 euros which is brillant because they are so comparable to amazing high end brushes. The brushes are available to buy here in Ireland in boots and also on line on the cloud 10 beauty site but I cannot talk enough good things about these brushes they are amazing I will continue to use these as they are my favorite brush brand ever.

Also there is now a set availible called sams pics which is a limited addition set and there basically sam chapmans favorite brushes from the line. The set includes the multi task brush the buffing brush the setting brush the pointed foundation brush the fine liner brush and last but not least a new and exclusive brush the essential crease brush. So this set is definitely worth a look at and I will blog about it soon in more detail.

There is also the duo fiber set which is also limited edition which has been out a while now but its still available.  I will also blog about this in more depth soon :)

Her sis nic is now on bored with the real techniques line which is exciting and hopefully means some new and upcoming stuff. On that note there bringing out some new retractable brushes which I can not wait to get my hands on so stay tuned :)
